WAMSCCA

What WAMSCCA Offers

WAMSCCA — the World Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery Certification and Care Alliance — invites ethical, licensed, and skilled medical professionals to participate in a global humanitarian mission that provides pro bono aesthetic and reconstructive care to those who need it most.

Our model is inspired by humanitarian principles upheld by the World Health Organization (WHO) and Doctors Without Borders (MSF). We integrate high-quality care, global safety standards, and equitable access with training, recognition, and collaboration for medical professionals.

Through our global humanitarian care program, WAMSCCA coordinates:
Reconstructive Surgeries
For war victims, burn survivors, trauma patients, and those with congenital deformities (e.g., cleft lip, scars, contractures).
Non-Invasive Aesthetic Treatments
For individuals with visible skin conditions or facial injuries suffering from social isolation or psychological distress.
Post-Care, Follow-Up, and Psychosocial Support
Wherever possible, including patient counseling and reintegration support.
Global Volunteer Network of Certified Professionals
Supported with ethical training, clinical preparation, and humanitarian safety guidelines.

Preparation & Support for Volunteers

At WAMSCCA, we ensure that all our medical volunteers are fully prepared—clinically, ethically, and culturally—before beginning any humanitarian mission.

Onsite Orientation & Clinical Training

All volunteers undergo in-person orientation and hands-on training at our designated training centers or partner hospitals. This includes familiarization with local medical protocols, WAMSCCA’s humanitarian care policies, and equipment use in low-resource settings.

Ethical & Cultural Sensitivity Briefing

WAMSCCA provides guidance on cultural norms, patient dignity, informed consent, and working with vulnerable populations, aligned with WHO and Doctors Without Borders standards.

Logistical & Administrative Support

Our team assists with travel logistics, medical licensing (if required), documentation, and volunteer placement.

Ongoing Mentorship & Post-Mission Debrief

Volunteers are connected with senior advisors and regional coordinators for real-time guidance. Post-mission follow-ups ensure continued learning and program improvement.
